Largo is in the middle of Pinellas County on the west coast of central Florida, just west of Tampa. Near many of the state's attractions, and with more than 75,000 residents, it has grown to become the fourth largest city in the Tampa Bay area. There are many mobile home parks and communities.

Fairway Village Residents Association

Fairway Village is a resident-owned mobile home community with 751 units for those 55 and older. The community includes a five-acre lake, eight shuffleboard courts, two swimming pools with hot tubs, a nine-hole golf course with practice putting green and a clubhouse with wireless Internet access. There is a stage with movie screen, library, card room, conference room, exercise room, billiards room, and computer room. In 2010, a maintenance fee of $184 provided twice-weekly trash pick-up, water, sewer, 27-channel cable television service and lawn care. Golf membership is optional.

Yankee Traveler RV Park

Yankee Traveler RV Park is a family-owned luxury RV park. For those 55 and older, the park has 210 units with full hook-ups and is near fishing, beaches, golfing and area attractions. Amenities include a heated pool with jets, a recreation hall, laundry facilities, seven shuffleboard courts, a lending library and more. The park is pet friendly, with some restrictions.

Belleair Village Motel

For those 55 and older, Belleair Village Motel offers a mobile home community adjoining the actual motel, which is within walking distance of shopping, beaches, restaurants and golf courses. The 70 mobile home units are resident-owned; several are available for re-sale. Amenities include a recreation hall, laundry facilities, and park; residents can use shuffleboard courts and a heated swimming pool. Lot rental fee in 2010 was $235 per month, with water, sewer and garbage collection included.

Teakwood Village Mobile Home Park

Teakwood Village Mobile Home Park is a family-owned retirement park for those 55 and older five miles from Gulf beaches. Amenities include three recreation halls with two fully-equipped kitchens, two heated swimming pools and a whirlpool, two shuffleboard courts, two bocce ball courts, an exercise room, a computer lab, and two laundromats. The park provides city water and recovered sprinkling water, sewer and garbage pickup and lawn mowing.

Grosse Pointe Estates Mobile Home Park is a resident-owned mobile home park with 128 units. Small pets allowed. Lot rental fee in 2010 was $130 per month.
