Rugged trails surrounded by miles of beautiful scenery make exploring the great outdoors a thrilling experience on an ATV. With a choice of steep, challenging courses for experienced riders or flat paths for more casual family trips, four-wheeler parks provide a great way for riders of all ages to discover the local landscape. The Coal Creek Company at Windrock Park

Approximately 30 miles west of Knoxville, the Coal Creek Co. off-highway vehicle area offers 72,000 acres designated for vehicles of many types, including ATVs, Jeeps, motorcycles, mountain bicycles, rail buggies and trucks. More than 160 miles of trails are available, with some trails restricted for ATV and motorcycle use only. Trails range from easy gravel and hard-packed clay paths, to moderately challenging trails with mud, small rock and small hill climbs, and finally, difficult courses on steep mountain terrain. All trails are numbered, rated for difficulty and marked with the types of vehicles allowed. The adjacent Windrock Park Campground offers RV sites and cabins for overnight visitors. Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort and Campground

The Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort and Campground offers miles of ATV trails suitable for riders of all ages and skill levels. Only a 45-minute drive northwest of Knoxville, this resort is nestled among the scenic views of the Cumberland Mountains. Riders here can experience 430 miles of trails that range from simple, flat paths to very challenging courses over rocky, mountainous terrain. Lodging opportunities on the property include cabin rentals as well as RV and tent sites. An onsite restaurant serves an elaborate buffet for breakfast and dinner. Callalantee ATV & Campground

A popular ATV park in the Cherokee National Forest, Callalantee ATV & Campground offers 5,000 acres of Appalachian Mountain territory with 130 miles of scenic riding trails. Numerous marked trails are wide and safe with something for riders of all skill levels. The trails and surrounding area have an abundance of wildlife to view on your ride, including deer, bear, pheasants and turkey.
