The Starcraft Islander is an aluminum boat used for deep-water fishing or cruising. It has a cuddy cabin for lounging or for escaping the elements along with windows to see outside. According to Boating Magazine, the boat is ideal for anglers who may want to speed off to a different spot or even a different port at a moment's notice.

Physical Specifications

The boat itself has a length of 22 feet and 6 inches with a beam of 96 inches. It weighs 1,858 lbs. and has a maximum weight capacity of 2000 pounds. Up to eight people can fit in the boat comfortably. Its maximum horsepower is 220.

Hull Features

The hull contains a built-in gas tank that can hold up to 52 gallons of gas. The hull itself is a Power-Trac hull and has a seven-ply pressure-treated floor and deck for strong winds. The rails on the Islander are made of stainless steel.

Plumbing

The Islander has an aerated bow baitwell and a livewell that can hold 48 gallons. Optional additions include a removable portable toilet and a head with a pump-out.

Console

The console has removable seats and interior lighting for when it gets dark. The Islander has Marine grade carpet as well as UV stable upholstery vinyl on the seats. There is an additional casting platform here as well.

Warranty

When purchased new, boats have a lifetime warranty on the double-riveted seam on the hull and a limited warranty on the deck.
