Sightmark produces laser boresighters for the law enforcement, military and civilian shooting communities. Laser boresighters project a laser beam from your weapon’s barrel to the bullet's point-of-impact, giving you a visual reference upon which to sight in your scope. Sightmark produces two varieties of boresighters: in-chamber bullet shaped and end mounted.
In-Chamber Boresighter
Sightmark’s in-chamber boresighter is designed in the shape of a cartridge and is placed into the chamber of the weapon. The boresighter sends a laser beam down the barrel and is available in numerous calibers. The boresighter can be powered with two different configurations of batteries: either two AG5 batteries or three AG3 batteries.
Universal End-Mounted Boresighter
The Sightmark end-mounted universal boresighter attaches to the end of your rifle barrel and can be used with a variety of bores, ranging from .22 to .50 caliber. Universal boresighters are extremely practical if you have a number of firearms of different calibers that you wish to sight in. The universal boresighter is powered by three AG3 batteries.
AG3 Batteries
AG3 batteries can be used in all varieties of Sightmark boresighters. An AG3 battery is 7.9 mm wide and 3.6 mm tall. The AG3 is a 1.5 volt battery and is available in disposable alkaline, rechargeable alkaline or lithium versions.
AG5 Batteries
AG5 batteries can only be used in the in-chamber style of Sightmark boresighter. The AG5 is a slightly thicker battery with a diameter of 7.9 mm and a height of 5.4 mm. The AG5 is also a 1.5 volt battery and is available in disposable alkaline, rechargeable alkaline or lithium versions.
