As the ball falls, a ton of colorful confetti rains over 1 million revelers.
Central Park Romance
Snuggle under a blanket with your date on a romantic winter carriage ride through timeless Central Park. Tour sites include the Carousel, Dairy, Sheep Meadow, Zoo and the Wollman Rink. Propose to your beloved atop the Belvedere Castle. The first Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show occurred in 1877 and is the second-longest running sporting event in the United States after the Kentucky Derby.

Take your loved on a romantic dinner date to one of New York’s finest restaurants during Restaurant Week, an all-city event that occurs twice a year in the winter and summer. Many of New York’s finest restaurants participate in Restaurant Week offering discounted prices on three-course lunch and dinner menus. Winter Restaurant Week takes place in late January to early February.
