The Coleman LED headlamp is attached to a headband with a buckle adjustment to customize the fit. Each headlamp unit is battery-operated, with nonreplaceable LED lamps to illuminate your path. When you notice that the light emitted from your headlamp is dimming, replace the batteries to get the full benefit of the lamp.

Items you will need

  • Flat-head screwdriver

  • 3 AAA batteries

Turn the headlamp assembly so that the battery cover is facing you. The lamp section faces down in this position.

Pry the battery cover off with a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the batteries from the compartment.

Insert the new batteries, following the alignment guide stamped inside the compartment. Slide the small tabs of the battery cover into the slots on the compartment's back edge. Press the battery cover firmly until it snaps into place.
