Campers will find many options along Interstate 75 south of Atlanta.

Although most of Georgia's campgrounds are found in the north Georgia mountains and in the state's eastern lake country, several camping options exist in the southern part of Georgia. Travelers making their way down Interstate 75 will pass several campgrounds south of Interstate 285 near Atlanta until they reach the Florida state line.

Metro Atlanta

Nearest the city are several campgrounds. About half an hour south of the city sits two state parks with campgrounds --- High Falls State Park in Jackson and Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla. With your RV or tent campsite, enjoy picnic shelters and group camps on hundreds of acres, as well as a lake and trails. A KOA site also is located in Forsyth directly off the interstate, featuring RV and tent sites, cabins, fishing and modern amenities.
