Items you will need

  • 4 cups soybean meal

  • 1 can cream-style corn

  • 1/2 bottle flavoring of choice

  • 1 cup cracked corn

  • Bucket with lid

  • Corn Pops

Carp are widespread, so carp fishing is popular all over the world. Bait fishing often is thought to be the best way to catch carp, and there are many variations on bait ingredients. One that is particularly popular is soybean meal.

Mix the soybean meal, corn and flavoring in the bucket.

Snap the lid on the bucket and keep sealed until you're ready to fish. This bait can be used right away or it will keep for weeks. It will turn sour the longer you keep it, but the fish love it.

Put a couple of Corn Pops on the fish hook. Take out about a fistful of the bait and make a dough ball around the Corn Pops. Pack tight and cast.
